What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved by a website in your browser. Similar technologies can store short pieces of information for the same purpose. Cookies may be temporary and disappear when the browser closes, or remain until they expire or are removed.
Cookies NeuroLog uses
NeuroLog currently uses only cookies and browser storage that are necessary to operate and protect the service. These may include:
- Session cookies that keep you signed in while moving between authorised pages.
- Security cookies used to reduce the risk of forged requests, unauthorised access and other misuse.
- Essential preferences needed to remember a functional choice you make during use of the service.
These technologies are not used to build advertising profiles or sell information about you.
Analytics and advertising
The current NeuroLog public website does not set non-essential advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If optional analytics or other non-essential cookies are introduced later, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be provided before those cookies are set where the law requires it.
Managing cookies
You can use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in, security checks or other parts of NeuroLog from working correctly. Closing the browser or signing out will normally end the active application session, although security records may be retained separately.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change if NeuroLog adds or removes browser-based features. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest published version.
